Ok well it sounds like he is on the road to a drug or alcohol addiction or both. You need to try and get him on his own when he hasnt taken anything and have a talk with him, tell him you are really worried that he is getting hooked and you dont want to see him throw his life away and become dependant on these substances tell him that if he needs help that you will stand by him and be there for support maybe he should get in contact with a drug support clinic or if he doesnt no were to start go to his gp. Am afraid though that he needs to admit to himself he has a problem before he can get help. So try and make him realise that he is going down a very dangerous path that well end up ruining his life if he doesnt get it sorted now.
