We came to be good friends, but the thing is I don't see her often, but I am still falling for her. I want to know what are your experience on such cases.

You say such cases as though you are unique in some way.
You like a girl who you used to go to school with. Nothing wrong or right with that. Just normal: boy likes girl.
You don't see her very often. So this means your relationship would either be long distance... or, once you were going out, you could make effort to see eachother more.
It may work it may not. Ask her out and see what happens.
Good Luck!! xx
