writes:i'm a shy guy, not a whole lot of relationship experience. I met this girl at a dance last friday, and we were grinding and dancing most of the dance. Ive phoned her a couple times and we've hung out a bit during lunch, but shes really shy around me unless her friends are with her. when she sees me in the halls she never says hi to me first, always pretends like im not there until I say hi. This is freakin hell cause im really shy, Im not uncomfortable around her, only when she with her friends and I act pretty awkward. She knows im shy, so its not like shes expecting me to come out of my shell the first time we hang out, right? im thinking about asking one of her friends if she likes me. If it turns out she does like me and shes just shy, what should I do?

reader, anonymous, writes (30 September 2009): say to her when u 2 are alone 'you know you don'thave to be shy around me' and see how she reacts she may nervously laugh or she might tell you why shes shy. she could even be a virgin therefore shes nervous of touching and talking. its just like Madonna's song. try and get her to look you in the eye when you talk to her i dunno how but try. good luck dude

If she says no then at least you know. To be honest I doubt she will say no.

 Just let her warm up to you. Time can only tell if this relationship will really work out. Don't worry if both of you are shy right now, it's just the beginning. Just stick with her and who knows what good things could happen :).

reader, anonymous, writes (24 September 2009): well find out if she does and if she does then get to know her over a period of time since you are a shy person just try to like become a friend so that you all can become a bit more comfortable around each other and get to know each other better to see if you would really want to be with her and then start to go in a for the kill( ask her out make her know you are really interested and want to get together) and work from there it should come to you
p.s that is how some girls are they like boys to make the first move
