The problem is, when I try, it usually feels tight and uncomfortable and usually I give up before I even get a finger in because it doesn't at all feel good. I sort of start wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I get myself in the mood and try to relax and its not that I'm not wet down there (unless I should just buy and try using lube anyway?). I'm a virgin (I've never even tried wearing tampons) so is it possible that I need to try using something smaller than a finger? Also, is there a way you should insert your finger? I'm assuming it's not just straight in, do you curve your fingers a certain way?

there is no right and wrong way every girl is different and its up to you to explore your body mainly girls get most pleasure out of the clitoris so start of here first and this should get you in the mood, and just do what ever is comfortable take time to explore your body curve your fingers a little bit if that helps and if you wish to use lube go for it.
