He said he wanted to take it slow which I respected and felt that was the right thing to do. We ended up spending the night together last weekend. After he dropped me off at home the next day he said that he feels totally unprofessional due to the fact that he looks after my kids at nursery, yet he is still texting me every day! I'm totally confused now!

 Maybe he feels like a teacher dating the mother of a student? It sounds like he's into you but is also concerned about what could happen if the two of you get serious.
