I'm quite an emotional person so don't know if I'm just overreacting.

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Am I overreacting? Me and my boyfriend are very much in love, however I'm at university, while he works back at home.

We don't see each other as often as we like, but we both make the effort to visit whenever possible.

My boyfriend's got a few days off work this weekend so he said he'll come visit me, which is lovely of him and I'm really excited to see him.

He said he'll come Thursday and stay until Saturday (great) but now I've just spoken to him on the phone and he's said he might be quite late Thursday cos he's VOLUNTEERED to work late :S surely if he really wanted to see me so much like he says he does he'd leave work as early as he could?

then he said he'd have to go early on saturday, I assumed it was because he was in work in the evening, but ive now found out its because hes going skiing and he has sunday off!!

Now I know he loves skiing and I dont have a problem with that, he doesnt go very often at all, but we live in a town with a dry ski slope and he could go any night he wants, i dont understand why hes chosen to go on a night that means he has to leave me sooner.

If he wasn't skiing he could stay sunday too.

I'm quite an emotional person so don't know if I'm just overreacting :(
