hi, i have a problem. i'm pushing my boyfriend away and i need him close to me. i've had a lot of trust issues however my boyfriend is great and gives me no reason not to trust him. how can i trust him more? how do i bring him closer? i'm so scared of losing him. i realise that this question is vague but i didnt want to bore anyone. feel free to ask questions. i would love to talk if anyone has the time. thanks. x

Thanks for the advice! We have spoken today. I have so much paranoia and trust issues but we will work through them! He is a good listener, and he's the best boyfriend in the world. I think that my issues come from myself cheating on a previous boyfriend (wrong, I know) and I know how easy it is to cheat! X

Once you've been hurt or heartbroken it can be really difficult to learn to trust anyone again. I think you need to explain to your boyfriend why you feel so insecure, confiding in him is a good way to bring him closer.
