Congratulations! Having and raising children is one of the biggest statements of faith you can make.
"So_Very_Confused" gave the best answer to your question.
In general, sex is quite OK during pregnancy. If there was any obvious reason to abstain your doctor should have mentioned it, but make it a point to ask specifically at your earliest convenience. (Call the doctor's office next week if your next appointment is a ways off. Or write the question out on paper and hand it to the doctor if you're too embarrassed to ask out loud. The doctor knows you're married, and that sex is a significant part of marriage especially at your age, so it's not like you're giving away any deep secrets.)
My wife and I continued our usual sex pattern throughout 4 pregnancies, up to about 24 hours before she started labor, with the full knowledge and approval of her doctors. She is one of those women who get especially horny when they're pregnant, which was fine with me because I find pregnant women generally attractive and sexually desirable - and especially because she was carrying OUR child. Toward the end we decreased some of the vigor in our couplings and used different positions (spoons is awesome!).
