Dont mix weak with honesty, your an honest and gnuine person and its ok to struggle with emotions we ALL do just some are better at hiding it. You cant change who you are and how you take things but you can stop how they affect you, next time a remark is made think of the positives, dont let anybody wruin your self esteem and just think the people making the remarks obviously have serious emotional issues in themseleved causing them to insult another to gain a sense of security and 'respect'. Anybody that throws an insult has usally got insecurities of their own.
Try to take control, dont think about it too much or it ill eat away at you and become a bigger issue, i bet with this you have unique qualities in that you know when its ok to cry and why, that takes a strong person.
Some things will stick with you but in ime they will fade, never let others shape the person you are or you end up living a life that isnt really you.
Best of luck
