There's no way to know but it certainly could happen. I had a cousin who was 5'8 when he left school at 18 and yet grew to be 6'2 after he left school.

The age that we stop growing is different for each person, so the answer to your question is... it depends! At 17 you are around the age where growth can stop, but some other people carry on until a bit older.
Our height is just one thing we can't control, and it is affected by amongst other things our genes (how tall our parents and ancestors are), and general health. With your parents having quite a big difference height wise you and your brother could have ended up anywhere in between and it would have been quite normal. As luck would have it, he has turned out to be a bit taller than you.
We all have things we don't like much about ourselves but can do nothing about. Some people hate the way their nose looks, or worry about their thighs, and so on. The important thing to remember is none of these things make us good or bad people, what we do and how we treat others is far more important.
One thing you can do is think about the way you dress. Some clothes suit some people better than others, and can make us look thinner, fatter, taller or shorter depending on design. Vertical stripes draw the eye up and down and give the illusion of more height, for example, so think about buying shirts like that. Horizontal stripes, on the other hand draw the eye across so give the illusion of making us shorter and wider than we really are. There's lots of good internet sites giving tips on how to use clothes to give the illusion we want, so if can accept that you can't change your body but you can change your wardrobe you can find loads of information about making your clothes work for you.

Some men keep growing into their 20's. Unfortunately, you'll just have to wait and see what happens. It's not so bad being on the shorter side. I'm tall for a girl, 5'10" and I'd like to be a couple inches shorter, like 5'8"! There's always going to be something that we don't like about ourselves, but we just have to make the best of it!
