I don't know how long you've been on the pill but I do know that they can mess with your hormones (and in turn, your period) for quite a while after you first start taking them. Your period is probably just late, if not, maybe it's too soon for the pregnancy test to be accurate. Either way, give it a week or so before you get too worked up. Wish you the best.

reader, anonymous, writes (18 March 2008): pregnancy test aren't always 100% accurate, i'd suggest taking another one, if you're still not sure go and see your doctor.
