Please give your opinion on this situation.

I am friends with a guy I worked with and we had a fling last year where we hung out/went on dates and fooled around. He was also communicating with 2 other girls at the time, not telling me this. Eventually he ended up sleeping with one while we stayed in constant contact but he was distant. This summer, he ignored me for 2 months for no apparent reason, then got a girlfriend at the end of the summer. He seemed sweet to her by always hanging out and sending birthday flowers but cheated on her a week after she moved away and never told her. They broke up cause she didn't want to date and I told her he cheated. Now, he won't text me, but talks to me online provocitavely/sexually, however, I don't think he cares.

My question is, what type of guy is he/why is he like this and how can I move on from him?

He's called a player, and its best to forget about him. This type of guy really is only out for fun, and doesn't care about anyone but himself. Do yourself a favor and don't get involved again. Distance yourself from him. He'll only hurt you.
