writes:Hey everybody!I'm in a crisis here! There's this boy I like, and I'm not sure if he likes me. Like: at the Hallowe'en Dance,he'd walk up to me with his friend, then turn around (a couple of times). And in class he always stares at me and he runs up whenever I'm talking to my best friend outta the boys.. But he is really mean to me when we're playing basketball and so now I'm really confused in what he's trying to tell me... Please help!

 It sounds to me that he might like you, and like the anonymous poster said, he just gets competitive during sports like most boys. Also, for some boys, being mean and teasing a girl is there way of showing they like or fancy her. So, I say, go for it and ask him out...or if you want to wait for him then do that. But most signs are pointing to yes about him liking/fancying you...especially the staring, and rushing to talk to you. Good luck!

Or he might just be like this with other girls... Perhaps he's got a competitive streak when it comes to sport???
The question though is - do you like him?? If you do then this should concern you, but if you don't fancy him then don't worry about it!!
