writes: Im around 5 weeks pregnent with my first child and was always getting period like cramps every now and then in my lower belly. But now since friday morning ive not been getting pains in my belly at all. Im only going by what docs say that im 5 weeks but know im really worried there is something wrong with my baby having no pains at all. Ive not even had any sicknessis this normal or should i be worried? ?

Im a Doula and have a lot of knowledge about pregnancy and birth.
There is no reason to be worried, the pains you were experiencing were most likely just your uterus getting used to having something growing in it.
Sickness is a good sign of the health of the pregnancy but lots of women don't experience any sickness or tenderness which is why some women don't realise they are pregnant until they are several months in.
It would be very unusual to have ongoing pains. So if they start again and continue, that would be a reason to go see a doctor.
