I'm not feeling my guy loves me like I want him to. Please help..

Last time last week.i told called it quits but i never gave my boyfriend real reason behind that. I just told him the spark i used to feel has disappered.But my real reals was i never felt my boo treating me like the girlfriend.he doesnt buy me gift,or call me often.all he told me was he's broke and i would send him money.i dont like to hear hIm complain that hes having any difficulties. So i called quits on him . That day didnt pass i called him we talked and we went back to our relationsh. But theni dont feel hes the same old person i used to know.whenever he tells me he loves me i dont feel it like then.i feel hes hiding something from me cut i donu know how to to ask him without feeling offended. I did hurt him the other day by breaking up and i dont want to hurt.i love him alot and i want to make our relationship work.despite its a long distance relationship but with time things will be ok i b so.We have issues in our relationship like my mum doesnt want me being with hm.but he has really understood me and has been there for through my tough times..but today he was so commanding he told me when he cnmes home he expects to see so i shoukd organise..i told he he has never told me this before.he tried to change what he just said by telling me that he meant hez hoping to see me when he gets hme. Which i didnt buy at all but ididnt tell cause i dont want to hurt him again.please people help me know what i can do about my situation before its too late to do so.
