Some people simply can not put alcohol into their systems with out their mind starting a craving. Those people all search for some combination of drink, food, sequence... whatever to modulate their drinking- 99% of them eventually learn that the first drink they take starts an uncontrollable chain reaction.Alcoholism takes on many forms, and kids as young as 12 have had to confront this reality- so at 25 your not too young. There's lots you can read out there, some of it great, some nuts... don't believe any magical herb supplement either BTW... it's simply a ruse to separate you from your cash.
