writes:I really like this guy, and I've been speaking to him on the phone every single night for about a month now, aswell as online. We've obviously seen pictures of each other and we have bonded and have quite a close relationship.I'm meeting him tomorrow for the first time, and I am SO paranoid/nervous.I'm scared he wont like me (romantically) in real life, even though we've seen each other on webcam, and i'm also worried he'll think my best friend who is coming with me, is prettier than me.What can I do to stop myself from feeling like this?

If you are suspicious of him prefering yo cute friend,please dont go with her.
Be bold n have self confidence n meet him.

reader, anonymous, writes (24 August 2007): Well you shouldnt be nervous even though I was the first time I met guy that I was talking to for over 3 months everyday but everything went okay...I have met 4 people that I talk to online and on the phone so dont really worry about what their gonna think about you becuz Im sure that their nervous as well...Make sure you meet the person at a public area or with a friend or something you never want to meet someone by yourself...

bur if u've both seen eachother thats better than him only seeing you,
if u didnt say u've seen each other i would say dont go!!
he could be a pedophile or a rapist but since thats not the case, u shud be careful all the same,

About meeting him with your best friend... well, i think you shouldn't do it, maybe she can be standing a few feets from you, just for checking, 'cause you know, there are a lot of freaks out there, and you are pretty young. so please, be careful. Do it in a public place that you know very well, some place safe!
I've met boys before in real life, that i met online. One of those, was my great love (he still is), we spoke about three months before we meet each other, and we click really well. The day we met, I was very nervous too, but that was just in my mind, and i turned out that he was a wonderful guy, and we like each other, just like we though so. But well, we love each other for the next months, but he had to leave.
A few days ago, i met another guy, but this story was very different. He was a really handsome man, but there was not chemistry.. anyway, you don't know what you are gonna get, but don't worry thinking he's not going to like you, he already have seen you on web cam. Mi advice: relax, enjoy and be very careful!
