writes:Hiya I still have contact with my ex bf, we speak everyday and see eachother still, Anyway basically he tells me about all these girls hes been sleeping with and how this one girl he sleept with her 7 times in one nite, then again, the other nite twice, he says now she is the one,When we where together we only managed 2 do it one in a niteWas there something wrong with me manybe he just didnt like me enoughtAnyway he brought her down the pub last nite and she's really ugly but he seems to really like her, everyone in the pub says I'm better looking, why doesn't he want 2 go back out with me? Was I just not good enough, we where together 9 months before he dumped me 2 get back with his ex but it didn't work like he wanted it to. And he still knows I like him and I would go back to him.So why's he like this? He tells everyone that we are just frends now, but then he still flirts with me and kinda play fights with me, like for a reaction, But there's also the thing that everyone says that they don't know why we're not together. He's playing a game on me but how? Maybe I'm just being stupid but I'm really going mad I love him still so much, We split in October last year. Why is he doing this to me? People say he's screwed up in the head and I'm now thinking I am too. plz plz help me xxxxxxx

 Hi there, I agree completely with the other Aunt's advice to you. I would add one more thing, I think he was intimidated by your looks and he is bragging to you about his sexual conquests to try to impress you, because he does not for some reason think he satisfied you, so he has to brag to make himself feel secure, may be wrong but he is doing it for some reason. That is his problem, not yours. Move on, find a more mature individual, don't keep looking backward, you will miss out on something very much better. Take care.

reader, anonymous, writes (31 January 2009): You know it doesn't have much to do with looks....men want an emotional connection just like we do and this girl makes him happy....I wouldn't listen to his bragging about having sex with her or any other girl, this is disrespectful......she has nothing to do with why he doesn't want to get back together with you, he has moved on and is able to feel like a friend to you.
This obviously is not working for you. My recommendation is that you stop staying in touch with him, cut off all communication and go to places he does not frequent until you have moved on.
You are just letting the green eyed monster of jealousy get to you and you are allowing his disrespectful talk about this other girl hurt your self esteem.
Wish him will, but wish him good-bye. Don't continue to beat yourself up over him. You won't meet any one else that is better for you until you let go of him....so get busy and get your own life that doesn't include him.
