I told her i broke up with my boyfriend because it wasnt gonna work ..she asked me why was it not gonna work?.. i said "a lot of reasons" and now she's always calling me boo and saying she thinks about me, and everything.... Am I giving her mixed signals?

It sounds to me like she likes you beyond just the friendship way. Maybe she is attracted to you, but doesn't want to live the lesbian lifestyle she maybe Bi and thinks your cute. I can see how the singles would get crossed so just take your time and maybe see if she responds to dating. I am sure if you take more time to get to know each other things will be more clear. You never know she may like the attention you give her it can be many reason. I am not a lesbian but I did like a women and was with her so it does happen. If you guy's are such good friends then why can't you just talk to her about how you feel and I bet if you tell her you like her she will do the same.
