ArmyMedic agony auntIf your partner has an infection the micro-organisms (GERMS) can cross between them and you, by bodily fluids, touch and sharing sex toys etc.

There is ways of preventing STIs like any disease and that is to break the chain of infection

- Carrier(your partner)

- Vector(Semen, fingers, vibrator etc)

- Target (You)

At any point this chain can be broken and here is how

- Carrier (Gets an STI screen and treated for infection)

- Vector (strict hygiene and barriers - CONDOMS)

- Target - (Use protection or Say NO)

I hope this makes it easier to understand, if you need it breaking down further, just ask.

THE BEST WAY TO PREVENT STIs AND PREGNANCY IS NOT TO HAVE SEX.

A reader, anonymous, writes (16 April 2009):

You get that from the exchange of bodily fluids. So if he's infected, you can get it from his saliva (kissing) or from his semen (if he cums in your vagina, if he cums in your mouth, or if he cums on your body near a cut or a sore.)
