We have had sex and both have been extremely open and honest to each other about everything.Recently we got on the topic of masturbation... I asked her all sorts of questions and she answered them. I asked if she wanted to know how often I did it, and she said sure. The answer is every night before I go to sleep (and occasionally once or twice during the day). I'm pretty sure I'm about average.At the time she seemed a little shocked, but not disgusted. Which I can understand, because we talked on the phone every night. We talked about it a bit. I told her I thought about her when I did it. She SEEMED okay with it.Now a few days later, she says she was a upset because her ex's always did it with her and it hurt because it seemed like I didn't want to it with her. She also said her ex's didn't do it as often as I do.First, she knows she can't really help me because she has a roommate (she is in a dorm), and second... I'm pretty sure I'm average as far as time per day goes. I think it's more likely that they just hid it from her rather than didn't do it as much as I.I guess my question is... what should I do to make her feel better about this? I've agreed not to do it the rest of this week because I'm meeting her on Friday... she wants me really horny. I've offered to work with her on it. I don't know what else I can do, other than give her time to get used to it.I'm just confused because she has been extremely open sexually, and I don't understand this sudden hang-up.

Are you sure you are average? It seems like quite a lot to me - ask other guys how often they do it. And yeah I suppose it is difficult if she has a roommate but doesn't she ever go around yours? I'm sure you could find somewhere private to do it =]
