It flushes away any bad bacteria that might have been picked up from the surrounding area (anus) while having intercourse. You need to visit your doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment. In the meantime, half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in a glass of water will ease your symptoms but definately go to your doctor.

Just to add on... UTIs can happen anytime. Sec without peeing is not the only thing that causes that. I know I couple of people, including myself have mentioned the sex aspect of bladder infections.
I don't want you to feel scared to go to your parents because you think that a bladder infection will lead straight to the fact that you had sex. I had tons of UTIs way way before I had sex.
You need a doctor.

Like everyone is saying, it sounds like a UTI which you need to see a doctor for antibiotics to clear it up. Stuff you can do on your own is drink a lot of water so that you can pee more frequently and flush it out. Also, cranberry juice and cranberry pills help since they make your urine more acidic and less bacteria friendly.

Lots of water and orange juice helps. Sitting on a bottle of warm water also helps. But it only lingers the pain. In my experience a UTI hurts a lot, and makes it unbearable to stand, so I always had to get to the doctor in a hurry and get on antibiotics right away or else I would be in pain for days and unable to move. So just get there right away before it gets worse. Although I do know some women don't experience as severe pain as I do.

sounds like a UTI. you need to go to the doctor and have a simple culture (you will give a urine sample there is no pain)if you have a UTI you will get antibioticsfor now drink plenty of fluids esp blueberry or cranberry juice...if you have the urge to pee you can sit in a few inches of warm water in the bathtub that will help.....for future reference always pee before and right after sex and wipe front to back...I used to get UTIs after sex a lot when I was younger...

You could have a urinary tract infection. Go see your doctor, only they can know for sure.

You will have to get to a doctor to really know. Most of us aren't qualified medics and can't give you medical advice that should be taken for fact.
So i will just tell you that in my experience, it could be a urinary tract infection. This can happen if you orgasm, and don't pee afterward, and so your juices stay inside you and cause problems. You need a doctor girl.
But there are many things that it could be.
