reader, anonymous, writes (22 November 2010): they take time to get over but eventually they do (although certain flirty teachers dont help this ) dont tell him it will make things awkward tbh i dont see anything wrong with fantasising teachers because id rather fantasise about them than some immature boy :P just as long it remains that way a fantasy then its fine. you seem as though you have a mature attitude its just nature and hormones it'll pass

 Meh, enjoy it or find a boy your age to crush on. As long as you keep the very healthy attitude that this can never, and will never, happen I don't see a problem with fantasy. Just keep it to yourself so that no hint of impropriety gets out about your teacher.
To get over a crush it's usually best to cut them completely out of your life. Don't take any classes he teaches. Avoid him in the halls. Take up hobbies so your mind is occupied with other things.
Still, as long as you never voice or act on these feelings, there's not a real problem with them. They are natural and will pass as you mature.
