 wow that is confusing but you can't help who you like I mean it would be hard to forget about him if you tried to keep you ex's friendship. I guess you could make him like you so then you won't feel guilty for telling him you like him knowing that there's a chance he'll tell your ex.I think you should spend more time with this person get to know him and let him get to know you a little more to. Maybe invite him to a "get together" with you and your friends and some of his "other" friends (not including your ex, i know it sounds mean but it is the only way you will be alone with your lover boy) That way it won't look like a date and then you can be more flirty than you usually are if your ex were there.
