Over those months we have gotten to be best friends. We know just about everything there is to know about each other, out pasts, each others likes and dislikes and even what turns each other on and just makes us melt. Recently she hasn't been in a relationship with anyone although has been sleeping with this guy she's in love with who turned out to be a total nut case and just wanted an easy piece. He also just pretty much avoided her at all costs in public. Since that ended, I have been there to comfort her and just be there for her. We talk all the time via text message and when one of us upset we call. I'm just not sure what to do anymore I want to be with her and always be there to protect her and her two boys. I've never felt like this towards anyone in my life. I've been told that I should just go it but I'm not sure. She does know how I feel but not that I'm actually in love with her.

@ cloverfield that's what I thought the I found the dumbass she was in love with was friends with him for about 4 years before this whole thing happened

when i told him, it was akward but we thought we could work things out, but it ended badly.
maybe if you give her slow hints she might get the picture and tell you she likes you to but be careful.
life is full of risk taking but you got to know that if something bad happens it could ruin your friendship.

 Im slightly concerned that you've got yourself in the 'friend zone'. The only thing to do is decide if you can face the consequences if she says no, if so, then ask her.
