Most of his friends have girlfriends, but none of these girls have ever made an effort to really be friends with me. I have tried on several occasions. My problem is that I have no way of figuring out whether its a 'guys' night or if there will be other girls there (i am not inclined to go to a sausagefest) . My bf does not ask, which does not help, but it seems like its been months since i have been invited out, simply because my bf thinks its always guys night. Then i either read on facebook, or hear from him, that i should have come and they brought their gfs. Anyways, its not like i can just text one of the gfs, because i dont know them very well. Is there any way i can work through this?

If its a night out as a group and guys and gf's are there then spend some time with your own friends and then excuse yourself to go with your bf and spend time chatting to the other girls. Eventually you'll get to know them better, once you do why not be friends with them on Facebook and then you can ask them about nights out without needing their number to text them.
