Do research on questions your friends and family will ask, such as if you're too closely related to have kids without genetic mutations. Think about what your family will ever want to know, and answer the questions. Have a response ready. When they see you are serious, that you've done your homework and aren't just a couple of stupid kids, they might be more willing to accept it. But be prepared and have a plan of action if they refuse.Good luck, m'dear.
