writes: I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I'm starting to feel the side effects of pregnancy. Lately I've been a witch to my loving boyfriend of almost 2 years who I've just been horrible to. He takes it well, often by agreeing with everything I say (he never did this before) and has nothing but loving words for me. I just don't care sometimes because when I'm in that mood I'm in it and no one is safe from my wrath. It upsets me sometimes because in the past he's messed up (jail, drinking, gamlbing) but now he's really stepping up to the plate and doing more than I ever dreamed of him doing. I wish I wasn't so moody especially towards him, but I really can't help it and I often end up breaking up with him which devastates him to the point where he's crying on my answering machine to take him back. My problem is even though I get in these moods how do I tell him that I'm really sorry? I mostly get on him about money and marrying me, but he's working hard and giving me money. With the marriage issue I know he wants to eventually get married, but why hasn't he proposed yet?! This is the main reason I've been cranky...I want a ring on my finger! I wish there was a magic way to get him to propose to me. I also want to know if it's my behavior that's stopping him from doing so? He talked about it when I first got pregnant, but it's been 4-5 months and I still don't have a ring on my finger! Can someone let me know if I'm being a total brat and how to solve my problem before I drive him away... Thanks =)

And he probably wants to wait until your hormones and moods are back in their rightful places before persuing a marriage. I mean you have plenty ebough to worry about without the hassle of organising a wedding ceremony.

Hello,
The only way to sort this out is to sit down with your boyfriend and talk to him. Communication is the best way to sort out your differences and show each other what you want. He may even want the same things as you but has some underlying worry which you could easily sort out.
I understand what pregnancy does to you, I had a ghost pregnancy last year, meaning that even though i wasnt actually pregnant, i got every side effect and i was just an awful person to everyone. The only way i could sort out my relationship with my boyfriend and my mum and a few of my friends was to talk to them. Explaining how i was feeling and why and to tell them what i wanted, and they would do the same back.
Therefore, I hope you do get things back on track with your boyfriend once you have both spoken about it. Good luck with your pregnancy too. :)
Hope this was of help to you, Alice xx
