A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I think I'm in love with my mums friends son. They live over in Ireland and we go over once a year but this year was... different! He kept teasing me about how I've not properly snogged anyone yet and was really protective. He even bailed on a day out with some of his mates to be with me! I have my friend from Ireland on facebook and she says that he's been saying he misses me and that all the boys in their tiny town keep bringing me up around him and he starts blushing. I really miss him too! I think there is something there but I'm to scared to say anything in case I ruin it all! We're only 13 but I have never missed anyone this so much in my life and I am keeping myself awake thinking of everything. Should I tell him that I have sort of fallen for him? Our mus have always joked about the two of us falling in love and getting married at 16 cause thats what they do in there town and i've never took it seriously but now thats all i want to happen! What should I do?

A male reader, Joelsy United Kingdom +, writes (2 January 2012):

Your age doesn't matter, obviously it might be really awkward to tell him because of how well you know him and his family but just do it. Your only real barrier is the fact that if something happens with this it will most likely be a long distance relationship- due to that you probably should hold back a couple years on getting into a serious relationship until you can both know how you feel and be able to see each other more hope I helped :D

I'm kind of speechless because of your age. However my grandparents got married when she was 15 and he was 20. keep in mind that was in the old days.

A lady never, never ,never, chase a man allow him to chase you.

just be patient, love will come
