However, she has a boyfriend - two years older than her and in Air Force basic training. She hasn't talked to him since July due to crazy armed forces regulations about letters only.My question is, should I go for it anyway? The thought of some guy in basic training getting cheated on/broken up with sort of kills me inside, but it is a long distance relationship, and it's going to stay long distance for the next couple of years. And again, either I'm having extremely wishful thinking or I'm picking up dem good vibes.Advice?

Also I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate your advances considering you know the situation she's in, and are going to try and go for it anyway. Her boyfriend probably means the world to her.

No, you shouldn't go for it. Why? Because she's in a relationship. Doesn't matter whether its long distance or not, she is unavailable.
