A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

ok my crush and her friend are acting weird, my crush and her friend know i like my crush and shown many signs that my crush likes me too

i spoken to my crush's friend alone and we had a friendly conversation and asked abt my crush whereabouts and compliment my crush and she seem to be all smiling and comfortable, willing to share details about my crush

but when i saw my shy crush and her friend hanging around my place on another day they immediately hid from me, again came back to the same place i was hanging around watching me from distance and when i spotted them they are roaming around and stealing glances. When they came close to me, i said hi several times, they pretend like they didn't hear me and went away and my crush stared back if i am looking at her before again hiding from me

so i was looking out for them and my crush's friend spotted me while coming down their path, I could hear like he is coming, something and they hid themselves

After that i felt so hurt, i didnt know why they are doing these things, I decided just to go away, all i want to do is just have a small talk.

we had some mind games before in the beginning to test each others interest like she used to hang around my place and i used to hang around her place with stealing glances etc

now those things are past, as i already spoke to her friend, so i am known face, but still why so shy like hiding and pretending to avoid me an stuff?

so what i can do now? i decide to ignore, at least pretend to ignore her so that she or her friend approach me as i'm done with mind games and chasing stuff.

A female reader, DenimandLace United States +, writes (3 September 2010):

DenimandLace agony auntHow old is your crush? This sounds like the actions of some very young girls. If she is the same age that you show to be...mid 20's, then you should try to catch her without all the girlfriends. Sometimes girls egg this behaviour on in each other.

Try to talk to her alone and just be friends. Friendship is a very good beginning for a relationship when one half is very shy. Denim
