However, I like the girl too and to make it even worse she's coming over and staying in my flat on monday night. It's as 'friends' but we all know what's happening. Now do I tell her not to bother, cancel it and forget her and help my mate. Do I tell him and risk my longest friendship because of some stupid girl. OR Do I go ahead with this plan and pray he doesn't find out?I arranged this 'date' before I knew so should I feel guilty about it at all?Any help will be great! Thanks :)

Tell him you like this girl too and if he is willing to back down then see the girl, but if you say nothing and see her without him knowing, thats not going to look good for your friendship. Either tell your friend you like this girl or leave well alone. Thats my advice.
