A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

last weekend i went to a party and met a guy. it started out by us just talking, and by the end of the night we had kissed a few times. we wern't drinking all that much, i was buzzed and he had to drive so he'd only had a few. i've talked to him since then on msn, and he seems like a really sweet guy.

thing is, he just got out of a serious relationship, and his friend (who is a girl, and i later found out has a serious thing for him) told me he doesn't wanna be serious anymore. i later figured she was just saying this cause of jealously... but i still wonder if there was some truth to it.

it went like this ::

he kept asking me if i wanted drinks, then bringing them to me.

he had his arm around me pretty much all night.

he gave me a hug before i left.

when he was holding me we kissed a few times.

when another guy was hitting on me, he said i was with him.

.....

one of our msn convos got onto the subject of players, and he said he wasn't one, but he liked to think of himself as a ladies man.

i dunno, i guess i'm just kinda confused about it... what do ya'll think?? what is a guys definition of ladies man...

Well we don't know for certain because we are not in his head, but by most standards, a ladies' man wouldn't be someone who goes around kissing people just for fun. Or at least I wouldn't like a man who did that.

I think kissing just for fun is more of a player and so he probably does like you, but you really have to ask him.

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

so does that mean that by him kissing me he likes me...?? or does it just mean he was "having fun"??

love-struckxo agony auntA ladies man - is a man who lots of girls want. It means he is good with girls.

It doesn't nessecarly mean he is a player - but it doesn't mean hes not either.

Take care

Player, as you probably know, would be defined as a guy who moves from girl to girl not looking for a serious relationship.. just wants to have fun and mess around.

I think a ladies' man is one who every girl likes to talk to and hang around and would probably love to be with, but the guy doesn't mess around with all of them.. he jsut leaves everyone wanting more...
