I will be honest, I did have fun in that period; what guy wouldn't.I'm currently talking to a girl that seems extremely interesting. She loves music, philosophy, military life style, being dumb, and other things that make her great. Unfortunately she is best friends with one of my friends whom somewhat knows my deeds. He loves her 'til death, is her threshold guardian, so it will be a hard battle. She hates "players," cheaters, liars, etc. If she were to hear of my reputation from him (in specific) i will never have that special chances... that one moment that will blow me away- The day she says she will be with me. I really don't know what to do.

reader, anonymous, writes (19 February 2009): not sure what your question is - so i will tell you my thoughts.
I suspect you will do what you always do and run like coward from facing your emotions. You can blame your past, but really you and you alone choose how to behave - you are a grown up. Your past will catch up with you, it always does.
so how do you handle it if i am wrong. Be honest - if you have changed then great she will see that. But the terms you use here make it sound more like a conquest than anything else.
