The team are ranked by the title but I’m singled out at the very bottom of the page. I don’t know if it sounds stupid and childish if I mention it? And if I want to mention it to the girl who is in charge of updating the website how should I bring it up?Thanks for you help! Reply to this Question Share |

You could ask, as a follow up, if you've been added to the website yet. Ask this conversationally in front of someone of importance, or influence. Having to say out loud 'yes, you're at the bottom' might make them more aware of the gaffe.

The order is by title. Associates and analysts from other departments like marketing should be on the bottom. I was just wondering why it has not been fixed, if that was an error. It’s just odd. I’m very well respected and appreciated in this company as I have made a great improvement in a short period of time. I just wasn’t sure how to mention it without looking petty.

Argh...
I hate when a cat walk on the keyboard and apparently hit send... :)
You could argue that it should be alphabetically?
Or... Seniority?
My guess is you were added on. Initially you were left out? I worked in finances for years and I have to say we often got "forgotten", in print at least. I don't think I would attribute it to malicious intent from the get go.
If you know who designed it, THAT is the person I'd talk to.
And I would consider first and foremost, WHY does this bother you? And... Is it a "battle" you NEED to fight?

I have to ask... WHO from that list should be on the bottom?
If you can answer that maybe you can make the argument for NOT being last on the list?

Mention it politely, and they will simply fix it. Seems like a simple over-sight that can be easily corrected.
