writes: Well, here we go! I'm 27 years old. I'm male and I'm gay. I'm in love with this guy who's 10 years younger than me. We hang out all the time. He doesn't know that I'm gay, and I supposedly do not know if he is gay. We flirt, and we almost have what I consider soft sex. I even kissed him on his lips; partially, and he kissed me back. I don't know what is happening. I cannot get rid of this painful feeling when I'm not with him. I see him all the time. I would like to know if he loves me since I believe we cannot be together not till he graduates. How can I know? How can I tell that he loves me and that I'm not some new frontier he's trying to discover. It's obvious we know we're gays, but we have shared the unspoken promise not to say it to each other. Basically, I want some sign that he loves me; a sign that is somewhat definite. We talk on the phone endlessly. He is literally my world, but I do not want to get hurt again. We say "I love you" to one another but from time to time we let the word "bro" slide in. HELP!

He may be nervous. Especially with the age difference, you will be more experienced than him. He may not have been on the scene at all. Treat him gently and have patience, maybe that's all thats required. It seems obvious that he likes you a lot from what I can read here. Hope this helps.
