writes: im 19 coming on 20, i have strong feelings for this girl who is 15/16, we are really good friends and get on extreamly well with each other i like her company.she has told me that she likes me and she is always flirting with me, and i too with her (so iv been told) i want to tell her back that i have feelings for her as well but i dont coz of the whole age diferencei know the law says no but i cant help the way i fell, believe or not i have no intentions of sleeping with her.would it be wrong of me to tell her how i feel and go out with her? help me please!!

reader, anonymous, writes (26 October 2006): I'd say go for it. But make sure that you have her parents permission first because if you don't you both could get into some serious trouble. Besides, having her always sneaking out and lieing to her parents would put serious stress on the relationship which i'm sure neither of you need. as long as you have the parents permission then i say go for it! best of luck!

You should tell her how you feel, if she likes you and flirts with you then i am sure there is no problem. The age gap seems large at these ages but many older men and women have much larger age gaps between them than you. i think you should tell her how you feel.
