You know it's wrong. Don't act on it. If he is still interesting in 3-3 year, then maybe you truly have something. Right now, it's just not right. Legally or morally.

I say maybe let it be just a simple crush and don't act upon your feelings. He is very young and in a different maturity level than you. Give him time to grow and if in 4 years from now you still feel the same than go for it, as for now leave him alone he is much to young he is still a kid.

He is one of my closer friends and we have gotten really close recently since I moved back home a couple of weeks ago, after being gone since September. I think he likes me too and my other friends have told me that he does, but I am not sure.

In the grand scheme of things, 4 years isn't that big of a deal. If you were 36 and he was 32 it wouldn't seem bad. The problem is 14 years old is still young in the sexual and physical maturity stage.
What is the situation here? Is this just a passing crush or is this someone you've known for a while and that you are close with?
