My brother(20) and my sister(21) FINALLY invited me to one of the numerous parties my brother throws at his house. It was a Halloween party so costumes were mandatory. I was santas little helper :] not overly slutty or anything but it was halloween. Anyway I know all the guys who live at my brother's new place. They are all really great guys and all around my bros age. The guy who actually owns the house's name is Mike. He was dressed up as Waldo. So there were a bunch of people there and we were drinking (me not as much, because just the night before that one I was drunk for th first time and got little sleep) So I was just enjoying myself. ANYWAY (sorry I'm rampbling.) Mike was after this girl who I later learned he works with named Nicole. She was dressed as EVE. So naturally she was half naked. Not late into the night I changed into jeans and a tshirt. I was convenient since my bro lived there. Later in the night mike was making little to no progress with his EVE. and he came over to talk to me. I told him that if she didnt like him then screw her. We started talking and it became obvious to me that he was not sober. he wasn't exactly falling over drunk but nevertheless not sober. We were talking in his room upstairs and my sister came in every so often to "check on us" (SHe was Wasted) furthermore he kissed me, and we started making out. He continued to tell me that I'm the kind of girl he's been looking for, he didnt care I was 17 or my brothers little sister (Hard for me to beleive). I ended up sleeping in his room on the couch. (nothing happend. He was very nice to me the next morning, saying the same things he had said the night before. He had to work at 10, didnt end up going until 11, we were talking, getting to know each other. It was cute. Then my sister and I left to go out to breakfast and take me home. My sister interrogated me about what happened and I said nothing at all. Which was mostly true. She said flat out Mike is too old for you. It is now two days later, The guy called me last night but only after I texted him asking if I left my bracelet in his room, (which I knew I didnt) and he called me right away to say he would look for it and chatted with me for a litle bit, he said he would call me later. I know this is really long as many of you wont want to read it, I appologize I've never done this before. I'm not sure what to do, He sid he woudl talk to me brother, I dont think he has, My sister tells e I'm too young. I havent even told my parents I went to the party (I told my mom even though she said she didnt want to know) should I persue it if he does? or brush him off because my family isnt ok with it? or am I stupid for even asking :] let me know

On your guy, you seem second best as you said he wasn't having any luck with his Eve, also you were both drunk when this happened, he may not want too upset your brother.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 October 2007): There comes a time in your life where you have to make ur own decisions. i really think u should just go for it. my brother was 18 when he dated a girl a few months older than me. she was 16 and i was 15. he loved her a lot and my family adored her. at first we were all kind of iffy about the age thing but she was lovely all in all. my point is, if u think he is a wonderful person, than just get ur family to meet him. who cares about age? 17 to 20 isn't really a big deal. In fact it works out better than dating a guy ur own age because guys just naturally mature slower than girls. My concern here is that cause when he met u he was slightly hammered, he might just want something not very noble out of it. Im 16 years old, so not much younger than u. I think if u really like him, go for it.
