writes: i no this will sound silly. but im 15 and i do ave a fair amount of friends at school. theres about 15 of us that hang around on a break and lunch and i sit will different people in all my lessons. i always have someone to be with and have many many friends. but im turning 16 in a fortnight and i have never ever had a boyfriend, not even silly litle relationships that last a week, there used to be a group of us that hun around on a weekend and in school holidays there was a huge group of mixed boys and girls and my two best friends and other girls would always end up getting asked out by the boys.most of them went out with each other and all the lasses ended up with boyfriends. but i never went out with any of them i showed interest and i did like a couple of the boys but none of them liked me. all the guys i like seem to have girlfriends, none of them like me! but now i dont do much outside of school. on weekends theres no one around where i live to do anything with to make friends and meet new people.theres no where to go and nothng to do! i do get bored but i just feel like i will be single forver alice, a girl i know went out with this guy for over a year and as soon as they split up she started going out with anotheer guy, it makes me look and fink! is there something really wrong with me? im 16 in a fortnight and ive never even kissed a boy. ive never even been hugged by a boy. or held hands with one. will i ever get a boyfriend!?

Guys are extremely lazy (shock) they may like you but if another girl shows interest (I.e flirting) the guy will get with them
You should maybe try talking to the guy or talking near him if he responds to your flirting he likes you then it should all come naturally

Listen to what everyone said because its true! I didn't have a boyfriend until I was 17. I felt the same way you do... The ones I liked never liked me back, and the ones that did like me I didn't like! But it happened, and he was a great guy. So just be patient, it WILL happen, until then just keep having fun with your friends!

It will happen, I went for so many years without anybody and then suddenly a hottie came and asked me out! Lol, he was gorgeous and i wondered why no other boys were ever interested when this lovely fella now was. I never asked anyone out thats why, i was always waiting for someone to ask me. You should go to a club and do something you are really interested in. There will be someone who's right on your wavelength then. As boys get older they get attracted to more and more different qaulities. Maybe because you hung around all the cool guys and girls at school you didnt notice all the other nice guys at school who werent in your same social circle. But be positive nice girls always get someone in the end! :-)

 yep you will. definitely. i know that for definite cos you have so many friends. You're obviously a nice girl and fun to be around and thats the main thing when it comes to attracting people.
You just havent met the right boy yet. Theres nothing wrong with you maybe Alice just isnt as picky or maybe she just got really lucky with the timing of her first relationship ending and then meeting another guy who was single and she was attracted to.
Its all down to fate. Dont worry about it. Very very few people in the world go through life NEVER having a boyfriend. (And i'm talking like so few it wouldnt even be a percentage.) Just have fun with your friends while you're waiting. Maybe you could invite your friends from school over to your house so you could hang out and then you could meet people who live near you?
