I'm 15 and i know that if any guy made the effort to come and talk to me then they're worth talking to. Don't worry about being shy or nervous, just be yourself. The key is to let her know that you actually want to speak to her. She wont be creeped out if you look nervous, that just lets her know you like her. She will probably be nervous herself. Smile, laugh ( with her, not at her) and why not ask her to go somewhere? Just make her feel wanted, she will really respect you for that! You say you're not a conversation maker, I think I have the same problem. Just don't worry about what you're going to say, maybe just start off with a hello and a smile? maybe then she'll start to make the conversation? Be Confident :)

It's a great start that you have female friends who you can talk to easily. I think the next step is to try talking to some girls you don't know but who you don't think are really hot (so you won't be really nervous) and just practice talking and take notice of the kinds of things you talk about and how the girls respond. Then try talking to some girls you think are really hot.
