writes:Im a 15 year old girl, dating a 24 year old guy. We've been dating for about a year. I know there is a really big age gap there. But we've never had sex, he has never pressured me into anything and the furthest we've gone is kissing. My mother found out about my boyfriend and she says she is gonna trow him in jail. Is that possible? we've never done anything. Im scared because i really like him. Is it possible to send him to jail? Or is there anyway i can make my mother understand?

I have a friend in a similar situation. I don't know what to say to you or her. She is also 15, however, it's different in her case as her mum approves of the 24 year old. Personally I think that most people that age only have one thing on their mind, but you know your boyfriend better than me. I agree that love is love, but I think you should wait until your a bit older to take the relationship any further. If you still feel the same way, try telling your mum exactly how you feel about him and how much he means to you. I am the same age as you and wouldn't go out with anyone more than three years older. At the end of the day, noone wants to see you hurt,least of all your mum. :)x

Yes you're mother could get him put into prision but it wouldnt be for very long would it if he hasnt done anything rong. i would suggest having a long chat with you're mum and see what she says. if you love him then good luck don't bother worrying about what other people think.

If I was a mother i'd be very concerned if my 15yr old daughter was seeing a 24yr old man. He's taking advantage of you && you should end this relationship ASAP. If you don't it'll only involve more heart break && stress....

Let me tell you ... if I had a daughter that was 15 I surely wouldn't want her to be with a 24 year old !! That's just wrong for a guy that age to be with someone your age . No guy that was mature would even consider being with a 15 year old . I'm sure you care for him , but he's WAY to old for you .

reader, anonymous, writes (23 July 2009): when iwas your age i hung out with older guys such as yourself and was friends with alot and my mom did allow me to date a few. bot now that im 23 and thinkg of one of my friend now dating a girl that year makes me sick. Hun i was a fool back then and looking back you kind of think to yourself why the heck does a guy in his 20s want to do with me? like seroiusly there motives are definalty not good. just get rid of him and be your age im telling you your gonna regret it and hes going to play a game with you if any of my 20 some yr old friends brought over a young girl as youself i think my other friend would beat his ass thinking hes a pedophile and such i dont know i know your going to do what you want to do but just wait for the older guys

He's crazy and risking ruining his life. If there's any chance that he could be tried for "sex with a minor" he would be labled a sexual preditor and have to register with the local police everytime he moved. Getting a job would be hard (he'd be a felon) and life would suck. He's FAR TOO OLD for you, and him dating someone of your age is a sign that something's not right with him.If she can prove that he's had sex with you, and a kiss could be enough... and your diary would certainly be plenty good to send him to prison (not jail young lady... prison, where big sweaty men like to make 24 year olds their "wife") he could be screwed (literally)...You need to cut all ties with this guy until you're of legal age of consent for your state. There are guys in prison for having sex with young girls, even when the girls have tried to impress the judge that it was not "rape". the law says that under a certain age, you have no voice... and that you're not old enough to say if it was rape or not...

 I'm sure she'll calm down. Parents say crazy things sometimes. When my dad found out how old my boyfriend was he was determined to do anything he could to stop me from seeing him. That didn't go as he'd planned. Oh, and no, she can't get him in jail. Only if she has proof you guys had sex (which would be really weird.) It's not gonna happen, don't worry about it.

Well am sorry 2 say but it is possible for her 2 do it. You should Have him talk to your parents so that they can see for them selfs that he isn't in it for the sex. Parents only think about there children first. They may think wrong so try and make them talk ok good luck!!!!!!!!!
