writes:ok well im 15 and i recently started hanging out with this guy not alone but in group company i see him now almost every weekend and occasionly through the week i really like him the one problem is that he is 18. we chat on instant messaging and he seems to he like me but i have no idea if he does can anyone help me figure out if he does without me getting embarest(in other words without making it that blatent that im asking him does he like me ) i dont even know if he sees me as more than a one of he younger friends although he seems to pay attention to me than any other girl. i turn 16 in 4 months and he has only just turned 18 about 3 days ago is this so wrong i like him. sorry for delay in answer had to see to the shelf,it seems that he likes to talk to you on MSM, maybe you should start dropping hints to him when you are on, such as I'm 16 whatever date, see how he responds to you,just keep talking in general terms, on the usual subjects, then just say would you like to go out some times with me, know it sounds corny but some times it works, then depending on his reply, you will know were you stand, he may think it is a good idea, if he does you must be careful that he is not involved with some else. because then he will be only using you, and you do not want to be hurt in this.

Hello.
I now that you like this guy, and provided you have not had sexual contact, then you have nothing to worry about, but you must remember until you are 16 then you are still a minor, you could just have a general friends type of chat with him, and just mention that you are 16 in four month when you become an adult, and see what his reaction is, if he likes you he maybe tempted to say something to you, if he say your his friend and nothing else then at least you will now where you stand with him, but do not go any ware alone with him until you are 16 and 1 day old, because if something happens between you before this time, he can still be charged with illegal sexual contact with a minor, be very careful in the decisions that you make.
