reader, anonymous, writes (23 January 2007): Back in my day, (which wasn;t sooo long ago) crush's used to be just that - crush's. Nowadays (from what I hear on here) students are propositioning their teachers, or visa-versa, you people live in such more difficult times.
I remember being 15 and having the biggest crush ever on my science teacher, I really felt I knew what love was.
What made it special was that it was just a crush, completely innocent and it was your body testing out the waters and getting ready to handle a real emotional relationship.
Enjoy the feelings you have for your teacher, they are the start of what will be even greater with a proper boyfriend, but please don't make the mistake of telling your teacher. Keep it your own secret experience in your head - you will move on from this and your capacity for love will become directed at someone who is available. One day, you'll look back on your crush just like me, CD and the anonymous reader have done. You never forget your school crushes :)

reader, anonymous, writes (23 January 2007): As the previous reply to this message said, Crushes are crushes and they make us 'think' that we are totally mad about someone but really it is out mind playing tricks on us. I once had a crush on my DT teacher but I grew out of it just by thinking everytime i seen him that my mind was playing tricks on me. I hope this can help you. Dr-Mel

 When I was fifteen I had a crush on my chemistry teacher. I knew that if he'd just notice me everything would be okay. I guess in the end I just grew out of it. There's nothing you can do to get a crush out of your system. At your age they're really good at preparing your emotions for real relationships. Just know that nothing can ever happen between you and your teacher because that would be illegal. Apart from that try and relax and enjoy the feelings that liking someone can bring.
