The fact that you seem to be thinking of sex almost entirely in terms of its physical physiology, rather than the mental and emotional elements, makes me think you are far from being ready for sex right now. I won't guess whether or not you'll be ready at 18 - that's too far away.
For an answer to your question, look at the post I placed in the thread "Any stories about losing your virginity??" at [ http://www.dearcupid.org/question/any-stories-about-losing-your-virginity.html ].

You sound like you're thinking about having sex earlier than 18...I hope for you that you aren't.By 18 sex may not hurt as much, though it may still be slightly painful. Lots of foreplay will help moisten you and make you less tense and will maybe make it slightly less painful.Like I say though you sound like you're preparing to have sex earlier .i.e soon.Don't let your boyfriend pressure you into anything that you don't feel ready for; be it now, or when you are 18.Take care

You should use a lot of lubrication and do a lot of foreplay
before penetration so you won't be so tense and the pain will be less.

Hello annonoymous writer.
At 18 your body will be fully developed so it wont hurt as much as it would now. When you lose you virginity it hurts for a quick second and its very sharpe. You may not bleed or you could depends if your relaxed or lose and stuff. So basically make sure your ready to lose your virgigty you are aged between 13-15 so you may not even be with that boy when your 18. To be honest when you lose it condoms make it softer and use lube which is like a gel which is slippery so it does'nt hurt as much. Speak to your boyfriend about this im sure he will be understanding.
Thanks
