The question thats on my mind, its kind of been bothering me...Sometimes, usually around when i get my period i more often then not find myself on the internet looking at baby sites and reading about pregnancy and visiting my cousin who is a new mother and spending time with her baby. I've read it is called being broody or something like that,my belly feels funny, but i feel a strong erge to carry a baby and concieve with my boyfriend, he is very understanding with all that sort of thing...but i know at just 14 and 17 we are not even close to ready to have a baby not to mention the fact we are both virgin, I want a baby but i dont want a baby if that makes any sence, i was wondering if anyone could help me understand why i feel this way, is it just hormones acting up because of my cycle?

If you are 14 and have your period and have a boyfriend. Get on some birth control pills. They can help control your hormones. Then whenever your ready...And take your time..like when your 21 or older. You won't have to be a statistic of a teen pregnancy. Don't forget to use condoms too. The world is a dangerous place.

Hi, being a biology major, I understand what you are going through on a molecular and instinctual basis.
You are going through what is similar to an estruous cycle. Although estruous refers to nonhuman mammals, you are experiencing the same thing.
You have an instinct to carry on the human race. When you are most fertile, this instinctual drive is magnified respectfully.
Take it from me, and stay a virgin atleast until you are out of the house... things will be much much easier emotionally for you, trust me.
