A female , anonymous writes:

If you had sent a general innocent comment to a male friend about some hedgerow cutting and he would have been genuinely interested to hear about it (and your female) and they replied 'bout time to' (I must admit I like a well trimmed bush) would you find that a normal, cheeky, innuendo or flirty comment.

I would be interested to hear as well what a man would feel if you saw this on your wife's mobile from a male friend how would you interpret it and would it concern you at all.

A female reader, chigirl Norway +, writes (6 November 2011):

chigirl agony auntI don't think the man should have been snooping around on his wife's phone in the first place, but if he is insecure enough to do such a thing I also suspect he is insecure enough to read it as a sexual flirt.

Moo's Mum agony auntDepends how well the two of you know this man. I have some friends that my husband wouldn't think a thing of if they sent a comment like that to me but if it came from someone he didn't he'd probably find it weird. Honestly though I would take it as a joke with no inunendo behind it.
