If you lose weight can it make your penis bigger?

A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

So, my penis isn't really that big. I'd say maybe 4 inches when erect. I know that 4 inches is long enough to satisfy a girl, but I would rather be average of maybe 5.5 inches. That would make me feel more confident with myself. I'm also a bit on the heavy side but I plan on changing that soon. I've been dieting and exercising to lose a lot of weight and get into shape and to get healthier. I heard that if you lose weight, you'll gain more length. Is that true? Like, 20 pounds gains an inch or something? Anyone have any clue of what i'm talking about? Thanks!

LazyGuy agony auntThe penis extends through the layer of fat, the tinner the layer, the more stands out.

So, no the penis itself won't be longer, but there will be more out there.

Also, fat is bad for the heart and the penis is powered by the heart. The healthier you are the more rigid and reliable the erection. As well of course how fit you are in bed. No love handles also helps raise the mood for most women.

From my own personal experience losing weight, I can say it will appear bigger. But you probably won't actually BE bigger.

It won't make it bigger, but it will APPEAR to be bigger - as when you shave your pubes.

If you are seriously overweight, your lower belly partly envelopes your penis: lose the flab and what you have will stand out more, and also you can get closer to your target!

Good luck.

DoubleM agony auntYes, I've heard that it's true to a degree. It makes sense that too much extra padding in the lower abdominal area would limit penetration to an extent. Extra fat on either partner affects the depth of penile penetration, but depth is not all there is to providing coital satisfaction.
