My question might sound really dumb to many of you who are from countries with races with blue and green eyes, but for me who is from a country of people with black eyes is a new thing. I would like to know if liking someone would be seen in their eyes? Well, there is this guy who acts like he has a crush on me, but I am not sure if he is just acting or he really likes me. He has light green eyes, but recently in some occasions I see his eye color changes to dark ( like brown) when staring deeply into my eyes. Also, I see yellow sparkles in them as like reflection of sun shine ( we were indoor and there was no natural light). My friends say that if a guy likes you his pupils get bigger. - Is that the reason behind his eye color change? - what about the sunshine? - Is that a well-known fact among people with green and blue eyes race? Thanks everyone and sorry for my English and dumb question!

I was wrong and his eye color is just changes with the color of his shirt. I also try to focus more on deeper level to get to know each other better. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

my husband had LIGHT blue eyes.. sometimes they look dark gray.. it has nothing to do with how he feels about me.

No, what you've described holds no scientific truth.
You can see intrigue and attraction in a person's eyes by the dilation of their pupils, but even that happens so quickly and slightly that, unless you're standing less than six inches from his face, you won't really notice it.
You may notice that he keeps his eyes open a bit wider when looking at you and talking with you, and he may blink less when holding your gaze. But, again, don't read too much into that.
You should look up body language cues. There's a lot to see there, and it tends to be a much more accurate read than just looking at a person's eyes.

Don't listen to silly old-wives tales.
A sure thing is when a guy consistently treats you like he likes you, and invites you on a date.
He seals the deal when he tells you that he likes you.
I think that is more important than just a twinkle in his eye.
A twinkle could mean all he wants is to have sex with you, and nothing more.
Don't rely on subtle hints and guessing games. You're old enough to just talk to a guy. Show him how mature you are, and he'll let you know how interested he is.
Shyness is a great way to keep everything on hold. Staring instead of talking.

The pupils, however, are known to get bigger when you look at someone or something you like. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to check this on people who dislike me as, obviously, we usually don't stare into each other's eyes from close distances :P
This should apply to all eye colors.
BTW, there is no blue or green eye "race".
(My girlfriend and eye are both green-gray eyed, if that adds any credibility to my answer.)
