I already have the perfet guy who i've been with for 14 months and a bit so thats not a problem, but if I want to become a psychiartrist then what is the best age to have children?I've added up the years. I finish college at 18 spend 3 years in uni and 2 years in Medicine school so at the end i'd be about 23 and hopefully married by then. Should i Have my baby then?Any advice will be fantastic and and much appreciatedThanks xXxXx Reply to this Question Share |

Im looking at becoming a psychiatrist also. You dont do 3 years at uni and 2 years at medical school. If your in the UK you do 5 years medical degree. 2 years foundation and 6 years at uni.
Yes you should definitly wait to have children after youve finished your studying and you have a steady job.

We're not rushing at all just wondering really because i dont want to be an old mum. My boyfriend and i have even planned marriage before so i know he wants and sees a future with me =]

Is he the same age as you ? You normally know when the time is right, you can say I will aim to have children around that time, but you might want to start using your skills, for instance you dont just qualify and thats it, you may want to keep your hand in for a couple of years and then have a baby. The guy you are with may want different things to you, so you will have to make sure this is also what he wants.

Hello friend i am happy from what i read that u dont have problems with you partner and i have an advice for you about what is the perfect age to have the baby . Actually there none specific age the important is being sure to give this new born all the rights of living if u are able now with the help of ur partner to manage a new baby so go for it , Or wait few years just to concentrate on ur work and have good income . GOOD LUCK IN YOUR LIFE GOD BLESS YOU
